主讲人简介：

Professor Yip is the Chair Professor (Population Health) at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, Associate Dean (Knowledge Exchange and Development) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Director of the University’s HKJC Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention. He is interested in identifying and developing good practices for promoting wellbeing in the community. He is serving as the Chair of the Research Committee of the Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (2012-present), and was the interim chair of the ESEAOR of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (2017-2018), the Secretary General of Asian Population Association (2014-2017), the chairman of the committee of preventing students’ suicide (2016), a member of the Steering Committee on Population Policy (2012-2013), a vice-president of the International Association of Suicide Prevention (2009-2013), and an associate member of the Central Policy Unit of the Hong Kong SAR Government (2014-2016). He has received various awards and recognitions, including ChiangJiang Scholar by Ministry of Education(2021-2024); Rehabilitation International Centennial Award (2023); the Hong Kong Spirit Award by the South China Morning Post and Sino Group in 2021, the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship in 2020, Australia-China Alumni Award (Research) in 2019, a Medal of Honor from the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2017, the Stengel Research award in 2012, an outstanding supervisor and researcher of the University of Hong Kong in 2009, 2011 and 2017 respectively, and a distinguished alumni of La Trobe University in 2008. He has published more than 600 research papers relating to population health and suicide prevention. He is ranked no 1 in social sciences and humanities in China by the research.com.

叶兆辉，现为香港大学社会工作及社会行政学系人口健康讲座教授、社会科学学院副院长（知识交流及发展），兼任香港大学赛马会防止自杀研究中心总监。他长期致力于推动社区身心健康，并专注于识别与推广有实证支持的健康促进策略。叶教授现任香港家庭计划指导会研究委员会主席（2012年至今），曾担任国际计划生育联合会东亚、东南亚及大洋洲地区临时主席（2017–2018）、亚洲人口协会秘书长（2014–2017）、预防学生自杀委员会主席（2016）、香港特别行政区人口政策督导委员会委员（2012–2013）、国际自杀预防协会副会长（2009–2013），以及香港特区政府中央政策组（2014–2016）副研究员等职务。他曾荣获多项重要奖项和荣誉，包括国家级重要人才计划入选者（2021–2024）、国际康复会百周年奖（2023）、由《南华早报》及信和集团联合颁发的“香港精神大奖”（2021）、人文与社会科学杰出学人奖（2020）、中澳校友研究奖（2019）、香港特区政府荣誉勋章（2017）、Stengel 自杀研究奖（2012），以及香港大学杰出导师和研究人员奖（2009、2011、2017）等。他亦于2008年获评为拉筹伯大学杰出校友。叶教授在人口健康与自杀预防领域发表研究论文超过 600 篇，在国际学术网站 research.com全球学者排名中，叶教授在人文与社会科学排名全中国第一。

The project is to use a statistical process control and nowcasting based on media reported suicide death.

To provide an early warning system for suicide.

This is to facilitate early warning and early intervention.

本项目旨在利用统计过程控制（Statistical Process Control, SPC）方法，并结合媒体报道的自杀事件数据进行即时监测（nowcasting），从而构建一套自杀预警系统。该系统能够对潜在的自杀风险上升趋势进行早期识别，为政策制定者和干预机构提供及时的信息支持，以实现“早预警、早干预”的目标，从而有效预防自杀事件的发生。
